Set up the road on Margates cliff top, Roost is a brand new creation from the Owners of GB Pizza Co. (you may remember my post about it from a while back, check it out here if you haven't seen it) based around rotisserie chicken. It appears to have successfully captured the same rustic aesthetic and quality of dining that it's sister restaurant provides, it even manages to give customers the luxury of a similar sea view. With a great menu that will even spark interest with the vegetarians amongst you, Roost is open from around 10am serving a breakfast that appears to be a refreshing change to your typical fry up as well as offering a great selection of waffles alongside their regular menu throughout the day. With a great ethos that revolves around "impeccably sourced produce" that is simply prepared with a ton of flavour at great prices, it is clear to see that there has been a great deal of thought put into the final product at Roost.
If you're local or have joined the vast quantity of people that are heading down to Margate for the weekend be sure you get your self up to Cliff Terrace and experience the great food and even better atmosphere...
